How I healed from my cold and sore throat in just 1 day:

If you try this and do not feel better with in a day or two, please go to the doctor! These are just remedies I came up with from experiencing many colds and reoccurring tonsillitis growing up. This method works for me and I hope it works for you too!

STEP 1

At the first sign of a cold or sore throat symptom, be sure to ingest a drop of oregano spirits. I always have this on hand and use this the second I feel any cold symptom. I bought this tincture a few years ago and it is still nearly full. Although, it has a very harsh taste, i believe in it 100% and am willing to do this every time.

This has a very pungent taste, so I recommend adding 1-2 drops of the oil to a shot glass with enough coke for one sip. Drink and chase it with some more coke. If you prefer, you could just use water or juice, but I find that coca cola is the only drink that helps mask this strong oregano flavor. Do this at least once a day until you feel better.

Oregano oil acts as a powerful cleansing agent that is full of powerful antioxidants, you could also use it to flavor your dishes.

STEP 2

Salt water gargles! I beleive this is an essential, if not, the MOST essential part of healing from a sore throat or tonsillitis. You can't just sit and wait for your throat pain to disappear. You have to do the work.

Ingredients:

1 cup hot water

1 tsp. sea salt

1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar

Mix all of the ingredients together, gargle one mouth full at a time until you run out of breath each time, then spit out into the sink. Continue this until the cup is empty, and repeat every 4 hours. You will know this is working when you see and feel mucus from your tonsils eject with each gargle. Getting rid of all the mucus from your throat as quickly as possible is what prevents the mucus from festering in your tonsils, leading to infection.

There have been many times where I skipped this step because I didn't like taste or the act of doing it, which let the gunk fester in my tonsils leading to an infection that needed antibiotics and a week of bed rest. Don't let this be you, do the gargles!

STEP 3

Drink lots of fluids! My drink of choice is my Perpetual Purple Tea.

I bought the Gomphrena globosa tea at my local oriental food store, because i thought it was pretty, and when I searched for the benefits, I found: Globe Amaranth herbal tea of perpetual purple is an excellent anti-inflammatory that effectively combats headaches, sore throat, hoarseness, cough ,bronchitis, laryngitis, clears the voice, and relieves symptoms of asthma.

I made this tea one after another for an entire day, and drank it non stop, instead of water, and believe this contributed to my feeling better so quickly.

STEP 4

Drink Liquid Silver! Put 1 teaspoon of this under your tongue for 30 seconds, then swallow. Do this every 4 hours. The best part is that it doesn't taste like anything! This helps to quickly boost your immunity.

Silver has been used for more than 2,400 years to help safeguard human health. It is a natural element that can be found in whole grains, edible and medicinal mushrooms, mammalian milk, spring water, sea water and tap water.

From the time of Hippocrates, silver’s health protective properties have been well-known and vastly researched. Silver was used to help protect the purity and safety of drinking water throughout ancient civilizations.

STEP 5

Over the counter medication. I find that the most effective drugstore medicine that works for me is Alka-Seltzer Plus Day And Night Time Cold Relief Tablets.

This temporarily relieves:

Minor aches and pains

Nasal Congestion

Coughing

Headache

Sore Throat

Sinus Pain and Pressure

Temporarily reduces fever

Prep Time: 5 Minutes Cook Time: 20 Minutes Total Time : 25 Minutes Serves: 4-8

INGREDIENTS

1 tsp. coconut oil

1 head of garlic, minced: 10-12 cloves

1 tsp. cumin

1/2 tsp. ground mustard

2 tsp. sea salt

2 tsp. paprika

1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1/2 tsp. ground turmeric

1 cup dried split lentils

3 cups water

1 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes

1 15 oz. can full fat canned coconut milk

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup cilantro

DIRECTIONS

1. Heat the coconut oil in a large pot or skillet over medium-high heat.. Add the garlic to the pot and let it brown, be careful not to let it burn (about 2 minutes).

2. Add the can of diced tomatoes and all the spices to the pot and cook, stirring the pot a few times, for 2 minutes. Add the lentils and the water to the pot and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 20 minutes, or until the lentils are soft. Stir the pot a few times to prevent the lentils from sticking to the bottom.

3. Once the lentils are soft and thick, add the coconut milk and cherry tomatoes and bring the pot back to a simmer. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the cilantro.

4. Serve and enjoy as a stew or with a side of rice. If you are cooking for picky eaters, try blending the lentils into a sauce and pour over your favorite spaghetti!
