Prep Time: 5 Minutes Cook Time: 10 Minutes Total Time : 15 Minutes Serves: 4 - 6
INGREDIENTS / DIRECTIONS
2 packs shiitake mushrooms
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tbsp. dry white cooking wine
Finely chop mushrooms in a food processor.
Sauté all ingredients above on a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat for five minutes or until mushrooms begin to brown.
Then transfer to a blender or food processor.
Then add:
1/3 cup fresh basil
1 tsp. pink himalayan salt
1/4 cup nutritional yeast
1/4 cup hemp seeds
Black pepper to taste [ i use a lot ]
1 tbsp. olive oil
Juice of half a small lemon
Blend all ingredients together until you reach your desired consistency.
Serve as a dip, a pasta sauce, or a base to your wraps, flatbreads, and toasts!
