Vegan Cream Cheese



Prep Time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 0 Minutes Total Time: 10 Minutes Serves: 4-6


 

 

INGREDIENTS


1 14-ounce package extra-firm tofu (water-packed)

1/2 cup refined coconut oil (melted)

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

4 tsp nutritional yeast

1 tsp salt

1 tsp garlic powder

Juice 1/2 a lemon


 

DIRECTIONS


Drain and press your tofu very well, removing as much liquid as possible.


Put the pressed tofu into a medium-sized bowl.


Add melted refined coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, nutritional yeast, and salt.


Blend with an immersion blender for about 2 minutes until mixture is smooth and creamy.


Add any flavorings that you wish and stir into the cream cheese with a spoon. I like to add scallions in mine!


Grab your bagel, smooth it on, and enjoy!
